"Ares Games" die Entwickler von "Wings of Glory" haben ein weiteres "Spin off" angekündigt. "Wings of Glory - Tripods & Triplanes" wird von den erfolgreichen Spiele Entwicklern Andrea Angiolino (Wings of Glory/Sails of Glory), Francesco Nepitello und Marco Maggi (War of the Ring, Age of Conan Strategy Board Game) erschaffen. Das Setting orientiert sich an "H .G. Wells" “The War of the Worlds”. Zum Release ist ein Kickstarter geplant welcher Ende November starten soll.
